Thank heavens that Mrs Claus has knitted me a long and very woolly scarf for the winter - my nose is getting cold just popping out to check on Rudolf and the other reindeer!
Of course, the elves are used to it - since they spend all year round here - but it must be my summer excursion to warmer climates that has softened me up and makes me notice the cold so much. Either that, or perhaps I'm getting on a little - the years do seem to be catching up with me, though Mrs Claus assures me that I don't look a day older!

A Popular Person This Jack Wills Chap
This year I am surprised by some of the gifts that some teenage boys and girls are asking for. They seem to love a whole lot of clothing that some chap called "Jack Wills" wears - he must have a great taste in clothes, that's all I can say! Apparently he lives some place in Devon, so we'd better get over there and make sure he can help us.
Reindeer Transport
With everything I hear about flying and all the problems caused by one little volcano this year, I'm very glad that Rudolf and his reindeer team can fly anywhere they choose, as fast as lightening, unimpeded by dust clouds, storms and volcanic dust. Imagine all the children's faces if I had to explain that Santa Claus had been held up by bad weather - it just wouldn't do!

Christmas at the North Pole
Hi Children!
Santa here - thought I'd let you know what's happening here in the elves workshop at the North Pole.
Rudolf and the reindeer have just heard about the strike by the workers on the London Underground - they'd just like to let all the children know that going on strike is not something that reindeer ever do (just humans!).
As you can imagine, with just 52 DAYS TO GO until Christmas, the elves are working long hours to make sure that all the presents are ready in time. All year round they enjoy listening to Christmas music (especially Bing Crosby) as they work away to create all the fabulous presents.
This year we've had to hire a whole lot of elves all the way from silicon valley, there's been such a demand for ipads and iphones. Steve Jobs would be proud of the job that they're doing in sub-zero temperatures.
Well, that's it, must pause now for a cup of cocoa and to make sure that rudolfs starting to polish up his nose ready for Christmas eve.
